What are the deployment options?

Prolaborate offers two deployment options:

1. Self-hosted: Install Prolaborate on your premises and we will provide all the required instructions, files, and licenses. Learn more here
2. Cloud: We do everything (Setup, Configuration, Maintenance, Backups, and Upgrades) for you and all you have to do is just sit back and relax. Learn more here

Does Prolaborate need its own database?

Yes. Prolaborate needs its own database to store the activities you do in Prolaborate like Configurations, Dashboards, Discussions, Reviews, etc.

 EA model data always remain in the EA databases.

Self-hosting Prolaborate on AWS

Here are the minimum specifications:

Application Server – EC2:

Database Server – RDS:

RAM	4 GB
Disk Space	20 GB
MySQL Server Version	Compatible Version 5.7.33

Is XAMPP/Apache Web Server needed for Prolaborate?

No. Prolaborate just requires Pro Cloud Server, IIS, and .Net framework. Just a straight forward installation of Pro Cloud Server is sufficient to make Prolaborate work.
