"Licensed Users" denote the total number of users you can add to Prolaborate; Only the users who are added to Prolaborate can participate in reviews, discussions, edit information, create dynamic visualizations, analyze information, and work on all the features of Prolaborate.
The licenses are named licenses. But, the current users can be easily removed and new users can be added to Prolaborate.
Pro Cloud Server opens your entire enterprise to your modeling efforts. It provides an API based OSLC interface letting Prolaborate exchange information with EA repositories.
No, Annual payment is the only option. You can start a Proof of Concept for free if you want to evaluate Prolaborate with your own Enterprise Architect models.
No, Prolaborate licenses are different from your Enterprise Architect licenses; there's no relation between them.
The number of repositories that can be added to a single Prolaborate instance depends on the edition of the Pro Cloud Server (PCS) you are using:
- PCS Token Edition: Up to 7 repositories
- PCS Team Server Edition: Up to 7 repositories
- PCS Enterprise Edition: Unlimited repositories
You will not be able to integrate with Confluence, MS SharePoint, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc. (Integrations), or enable Single Sign-On (SSO). These add-ons can be purchased separately, if applicable.
Additionally, note that the share count is limited for the Prolaborate Growing Teams edition, dependent on the license count. Refer to the next question for more information.
Yes, the share count is limited for the Prolaborate Growing Teams edition based on the license count. Refer to the details below:
- The share count is 50 for Ten or more licenses.
- The share count is 100 for 25 or more licenses.
- The share count is 250 for 50 or more licenses.
For unlimited shares, kindly purchase Prolaborate Large Teams Edition or Prolaborate Enterprise Edition.
Each add-on is available at a fixed price of $1498 per year. However, customers who are using the Large Teams or Enterprise edition can enjoy the add-ons for free.

Not by default as Prolaborate licenses are linked to the hardware. But, you can purchase hardware independent licenses at an additional charge.

It just takes 5 business days to setup the environment once the purchase order is placed.
By default, EA on Cloud service does not include any paid version of Pro Cloud Server but you can avail Token, Team, or Enterprise editions if needed.
Usually, we start with two EA repositories:
- An empty repository for you to load your model
- Our Demo Model. Prolaborate will have the visualizations we have built on top of this model. This will give a good idea of how to build simple to advanced visualizations.
We can add more EA repositories (up to 5) as per your requirements.
Normally, nightly backups are taken and stored for a period of 2 weeks. If you want us to restore a specific day's backup, you can email us and we will get it restored. If you have any specific requirements, feel free to get in touch with us.
We choose the Amazon Web Services (AWS) region based on your location. For example, if your organization is located in the United Kingdom, we will host using AWS London Region.
