Present Essential Model Information with Pages 

Navigating Enterprise Architect models can be overwhelming, especially for users unfamiliar with the model hierarchy. The Pages feature in Prolaborate simplifies this by presenting essential model information in a structured, easy-to-navigate format. 

Administrators can selectively publish key content on a flat page, allowing users to access critical information effortlessly. This enhances collaboration and decision-making while eliminating the need to navigate complex model structures. 

Prerequisites 

  1. Prolaborate version should be 5.5.0 and above. 
  2. Users must have access to the repository in Prolaborate. 
  3. To publish a page, user must be an admin or be a part of a user group with access to Pages. 

How to Design & Publish Model Information via Pages? 

To design and publish a page with relevant model information, click on Menu > Resources Manager under Repository Configuration. 

Select Pages from the left side pane. Click Create Page. 

Users must give a suitable name for the page and select the required model information. A preview of the page will be shown in the Preview section based on the selected items. 

Click Publish to publish the page. 

Viewing Published Information 

Once the page is published, uses can click on the name to view the published information. 

How to Share a Page? 

Users can share the published page as a public or private URL to external stakeholders to view the information. 

Click on Share button and copy the displayed URL.

Providing Access to Published Pages 

Admin users or users who have created the page can provide access to any user for a published page to view and discuss published model information. 

Click Edit under Page Permissions. 

Choose the required user or user groups and click on Save to apply permission to the published page. 

Collaborating on a Published Page 

Users who have access to the page can collaborate on the published model information. 

Open a page and click on the Discuss button to open the discussion window. 

Start a new discussion or reply to an existing discussion for the published page. 

More Actions 

Marking Favourite Pages 

Users can mark published pages as Favourites for quick access. 

Favourited pages appear at the top of the listing.  Users can make five pages as favourites. 

To remove the page from favourites, open it and click Remove from Favourite. 

Editing a Page 

To edit a page, click on the Edit icon from the pages listing page. 

Make the necessary changes and click Publish to update the page. 

Copying a Page 

To copy a page, click on the copy option under actions from the pages listing page. 

A duplicate page will be created for modifications. 

Deleting a Page 

To delete a page, click on the delete option under actions from the pages listing page.

Confirm the deletion to remove the page permanently. 

Pages can also be deleted in bulk.
