How to Update SSL Certificate and Server.pem File?

Introduction

To enhance domain security by switching from HTTP to HTTPS, an active SSL certificate and an updated server.pem file is required. These components ensure security by encrypting the connection between the server and users, protecting sensitive information from unauthorized access.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for updating the SSL certificate and server.pem file. The SSL certificate requires renewal and updating every 12 months across several locations.

  1. Microsoft Management Console (MMC)
  1. Prolaborate Management Console,
  1. SAML Single Sign-On (if SAML SSO is enabled).

Additionally, the server.pem file must be updated in the Pro Cloud Server installation folder. If the Server.pem file is not available, you can create it by converting the PFX certificate to a Server.pem file using OpenSSL. Click here to know more.
