Can welcome email be disabled?
There is no way to disable the email in Prolaborate, but you can customize the email template, including setting the “From” address in the Mailer Configuration. This allows you to modify the email to fit your needs, ensuring that users receive it from your specified email address.

Can email notification be disabled by default for all users?
No, email notifications cannot be disabled by default for all users by Admin. Notification settings are managed at the individual user level where they can manually adjust or disable their email notification settings within their own profiles. For example, to reduce noise from discussion threads, users can switch to “Participated Mode”. This setting ensures they only receive notifications when they are directly mentioned or have actively participated in the discussion—minimizing unnecessary email traffic while keeping them informed on relevant updates.
