The guest sign-up feature allows anybody to quickly sign up and gain read-only access to the application.
This article explains how to enable guest signup and how to sign up as a guest user.
Note: This feature will work only if you have configured SMTP.
Enable Guest Signup
You can enable Guest Signup in General Settings. Click on Settings and under Portal
, click on General Settings.

Sign up as Guest
Once the Guest Signup is enabled, there will be a new tab introduced in the Sign In page as shown below:
Your guest users can follow these steps to sign up as guest:
- Select Guest option in the Sign-In page.
- Fill in all the details and click on Get Access.
- You’ll see the following message on the page and you will receive the activation link in your email. If you did not receive the email, please click on Resend activation link.
- Click on the link from the email in your inbox and you will be redirected to Prolaborate.
- Sign In to Prolaborate
